This means the Basic kit allows shift throw adjustment, but over a smaller range. Importantly however, it is easily upgraded to the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/gofastbits.com\/product\/4002-short-shift-kit-6-speed\/\"\u003e4002\u003c\/a\u003e kit with the addition of the linkage clamp.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo why choose the Basic over the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/gofastbits.com\/product\/4002-short-shift-kit-6-speed\/\"\u003e4002\u003c\/a\u003e kit?\u003cbr\u003e\nWhen using the full \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/gofastbits.com\/product\/4002-short-shift-kit-6-speed\/\"\u003e4002\u003c\/a\u003e kit, some people find that the shorter settings are actually too extreme for their taste (particularly on MY06-08 models, as the factory shift is shorter than earlier versions), and only end up using a small amount of the shifter’s range.
